favorite verse: "You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with your whole heart."

-Jeremiah 29:13

bio: Grew up moving a ton with a single mom.  Finished High School in New Orleans, which was a different world.  I had tons of drama in my home life, but in all of that I knew God had created me to work with students.  I NEVER dreamed it would be working with them in the walls of a Church.  When I was 22 I had hit a low point in life, I mean really low.  It was at that point I surrendered everything over to Jesus,  everything.  I began in youth ministry six months later and now twenty years into it, here I am.  I have an incredible wife and two sons that are becoming godly young men. I am blessed.

bio: I was born here in Tyler. I have grown up here at Marvin, and I attended Grace Community and Robert E Lee High School. I am currently attending UTTyler as a mechanical engineering major. My parents divorced when I was in middle school, and out of that the Lord was able to take a hold my life in 7th grade. I now have a great Christian family after Jake adopting my little brother and I. Jake and this youth group was such a huge part of teaching me about how to pursue Christ. Now the Lord has given me a great opportunity to invest back into this youth ministry as an intern.
